Welcome to Bobo Health & Wellness!
AUGUST 29 · VANCOUVER
May your 33-year-old soul keep walking in light—free, radiant, and held in grace.
On the morning of August 29, 2026, I opened my eyes, and the light outside my window was just perfect.
No big birthday party. No fancy cake with candles. I walked to the mirror and looked at myself. My body looked about 40. But the light in my eyes? That, I knew, was 33.
I'm 61 today. But I've decided — from now on, I'm not counting years anymore. I'm choosing which version of "me" I want to live in.
When I was 33 — that was 1998 — I made a decision that would change my life forever: I left my parents' home and started preparing to build a family of my own.
I didn't get married that year. But in my heart and in my actions, I had already taken that step. That courage of "I'm ready" — it was more real than any wedding vow. And then in 1999, I walked into marriage and completed that decision.
Looking back now, it was actually that whole process of preparation that made me no longer anyone's dependent — I began to become my own person. That courage, scared but determined, I know it didn't come from me alone. It was the light that Yahweh lit inside me. Through that decision, He told me: "You're grown up now. You need to take responsibility for yourself — but I am with you."
My teacher once said: "Remember the age when you were happiest, and then live into it." So I understand now: my body can keep aging, but my spirit will forever rest in that 33-year-old freedom that was blessed by Him.
A lot of people ask me: what have you been through all these years? How did you go from rock bottom to a place where you actually admire the person you've become?
The answer is just one word: going inward — listening deeply to the voice that Yahweh placed in my soul.
I truly believe that every person who appears in my life is not a coincidence. They are all part of His plan. Yahweh is the vast, innate energy of the universe. We can't fully understand Him with our limited human minds — we are just too small. But it's precisely because we are small that this grace — of being chosen and guided by Him — becomes so precious.
My teacher also said: "What the universe can give us is the positive energy from Him, so we can live more vibrantly." It took me ten years to truly understand what that means.
There was a time when I weighed over 200 pounds. It wasn't because I was greedy, and it wasn't because I lacked discipline — it was a heaviness built from medication and tears.
The loss of my son completely shattered me. I got sick, was hospitalized, and put in isolation for five full months. Over the next two years, I ended up taking nearly seven different kinds of antibiotics. My body was bombarded by drugs over and over again. My detox system completely shut down. Toxins couldn't get out, so the weight just piled on, layer after layer.
Back then, my body was like a partner I had neglected, blamed, and resented. I didn't listen to it. I didn't respond to its needs. I just kept demanding it to "change, and change now." But the truth is, my body was suffering too — it was trying even harder than I was to survive.
It took me a while, but I finally realized: wellness is not a battle. It's a reconciliation.
Over these past ten years, I've learned the most important thing of all: being in a loving relationship with my own body.
And the starting point of this love story? It actually began with trying a ketogenic diet. That was like a beam of light that shone into my drug-locked body and let me "see" the problem for the first time. But I knew it wasn't just about changing food — it was Yahweh gently waking me up through that method.
And then I started a long journey of searching — looking for answers, for methods, for the path that was mine. I kept trying, falling down, getting back up, over and over again. Every encounter that seemed accidental — looking back now, it was never accidental. Yahweh led me deeper and deeper through different people, different "guardian angels," step by step.
Eventually, I even had the opportunity to study at Harvard Medical School and earn a certified health coach credential in Lifestyle Medicine. None of this, to me, has ever been "my achievement." It's layer upon layer of grace — His grace, stacked up, lifting me out of the darkness and placing me into the light.
I started learning to talk to my body — not demanding, "Why are you so heavy?" but gently asking, "What do you need today? Are you tired? Do you want to rest, or do you want to move?"
I started learning to connect with my subconscious, to tap into that grace that Yahweh placed in the universe. I don't rely on others to give me answers. I rely on listening, day and night, bit by bit, to what this body is telling me.
Slowly, gently, my weight came back down from over 200 pounds to a healthy place. I went as light as 115 pounds at one point — and I'll admit, I was really fit! But I knew that wasn't a number I had to cling to. I actually prefer myself now, floating comfortably between 120 and 130 — because my relationship with my body has gone way beyond "numbers."
What I maintain is not a number. It's a mindset of being in love with my body.
Sometimes I let loose a little — I eat happily, drink happily, enjoy good food, and let myself comfortably hit over 130 pounds 😂 Then I gently, without guilt, come back to balance. Because in a healthy love relationship, an occasional indulgence isn't betrayal — it's part of the joy. An occasional drift isn't failure — it's knowing "I can always come back."
This is the true meaning of wellness: it's not about imprisoning yourself, but about knowing how to negotiate with your body. It's not punishment — it's tenderness. It's not control — it's trust.
Today, on my 61st birthday, I've decided to open a space called "Universe & Light."
It's not a religious lecture hall. It's a corner for life testimonies. I'm not here to tell you what to believe. I'm here to show you: when a person humbly receives energy from Him and bravely explores within — this is what they can become.
This is just the prologue. In the days ahead, I'll slowly share with you —
The people who have appeared in my life, carrying His purpose — including the teacher who taught me the "rejuvenation" method, including my son… I'll share them one by one, like flipping through my life journal, slowly and carefully.
If you're willing, stay in this light. This light — I received it from Yahweh, and now I'm passing it on to you.
Today, I just want to say one thing to myself:
"Happy birthday to 33-year-old BoBo. In the days ahead — together, we'll keep falling in love with our bodies, and keep living in His grace."
